The Greenbrier Resort   

As the county's largest employer, The Greenbrier Resort is justly proud of its efficient and courteous staff, whose ranks include many second and third generation members. Superb amenities and its mountain location have earned The Greenbrier its reputation as America's premier luxury resort year after year. The Greenbrier covers 6,500 acres and provides 739 guest rooms, conference facilities and a diagnostic medical clinic.

Tracing the resort's roots, healing sulphur springs were discovered in the scenic Allegheny Mountains in 1778. Within a few years, a cottage community developed nearby, eventually evolving into the elegant White Sulphur Springs Hotel, at the time known as the 'Old White.' The Greenbrier, as it is referred to today, is a designated National Historic Landmark. Among past guests include 22 U.S. presidents and numerous other world leaders and prominent personalities.
