New River Community and Technical College and the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce will host Business After Hours from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on March 29 at the Kyle and Ann Fort Arts and Sciences Building in Lewisburg.
Business After Hours events are an excellent opportunity to network with local business leaders while learning more about the College’s various academic and workforce programs.
“We look forward to a fun and informative evening,” said Michael Green, Interim Executive Director of New River CTC Foundation.
“Anyone interested in learning about New River CTC and all the College has to offer the community is welcome to attend. Students and parents will be able to find out about admissions procedures and degree programs. Local businesses interested in partnering with the College for training, continuing education, and workforce development programs are also encouraged to attend,” said Green.
The following programs will be highlighted with demonstrations and information tables: Welding, Medical Assisting, Paramedic/EMT, Cosmetology, Massage Therapy, and Software Development Coding. New River CTC faculty, staff, and admissions counselors will be available to answer questions.
Entertainment will be provided by Joey Stepp, a comedian, magician, and former member of the Marshall University football team. There also will be door prizes, food, and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
